History
Tanzua Food Bank was founded in 2024 by Tanzua Food from Tanzua Group as a response to the growing issue of food insecurity in Tanzania. The founder recognized that many families and individuals in the community were struggling to access nutritious food, and decided to take action by creating a food bank that would provide them with the resources they needed to thrive.

Initially, Tanzua Food Bank operated out of a small warehouse space, relying on donations from local businesses and individuals to stock its shelves. However, as word of its services spread and the need for its assistance grew, the organization quickly expanded, eventually moving into a larger facility and establishing partnerships with other local nonprofits and government agencies.
